Speaking Of Google Earth...Have The Alphabet Aliens Landed?

A while back I received an email from a gentleman requesting information regarding the alphabet shaped fields on some Google Earth imagery (see photos).  The fields are in Lacey Township, Ocean County, just north of state highway 72 and west of county road 539.  The approximate coordinates are 39 degrees 51 minutes and 9.6 seconds latitude and 74 degrees 23 minutes and 59.7 seconds longitude.  Give me your best guesses.  Sorry no prizes.
