Aerials over GIS/pictometry in Ocean City
This Maryland Coast Dispatch article comes to us through the All Points Blog. Ocean City, MD City Council decides to forego Pictometry oblique imagery in favor of new orthos.
"Although $45,000 was already approved in the 2007 fiscal year budget for Geographic Information Systems (GIS) that includes pictometry and terrain modeling, city officials instead recommended the funds go toward obtaining new aerial photography considering that all the old photography will be four years old this spring."Full article.
