On May 25th, 2007, the Trenton War Memorial hosted the joint MAC URISA 2007 Spring Meeting/20th NJDEP Mapping Contest. The full day event was attended by such NJ GIS luminaries as Hank Garie, Pat Cummens, Barb Plunkett, Chris Cappelli, Andy Rowan, Larry Thornton. In a working lunch session Katy McSorley, MAC URISA President, announced proposed changes to the MAC URISA by-laws. The membership voted.

In the afternoon Zedreh Allen-Lafayette from the New Jersey Geological Survey conducted a very interesting and informative cartography workshop. I'll be shrinking the logos on my maps from now on. Seriously.
