The Virtual Earth Public Sector team at Microsoft has set up a blog -- Virtual Earth For Government -- as "a place to share information and ideas on the Virtual Earth platform as a tool that allows Governments to visualize their data within the context of location."
Virtual Earth is a platform that allows organizations to build decision intelligence portals that take advantage of the rich Virtual Earth imagery, search functionality and map data through powerful and flexible application program interfaces (APIs). Microsoft provides the platform---partners and customers build the applications.
