Pricing for GIS Services in New Jersey

How much can you expect to pay (or get paid) for GIS services in New Jersey? If the just-released GIS Services Term Contract (T1841) by the New Jersey Department of the Treasury is any indication, here's how much:
  • For GIS planning services -- $125.75/hour
  • For GIS data conversion servicecs -- $54.50/hour
  • For GIS application development services -- $100.00/hour
I arrived at these numbers by tabulating and averaging the prices of the award recipients. Eight vendors received awards under the current contract. Not all vendors responded to all categories. More than half are out-of-state vendors. Two are based in Redlands, California.

Here is the full Notice of Award.
