PAMS News Digest
The New Jersey Geospatial Forum (NJGF) met in Trenton yesterday. Dana Max from the New Jersey Division of Taxation updated the New Jersey geospatial community on the status of the PAMS project. A few notables:
- The Property Assessment Management System (PAMS) will be a centralized, web-based, State-owned and –operated system replacing MOD IV and its peripherals.
- Three counties – Hunterdon, Camden and Salem – will be the first to go live with the new system
- Implementation schedule:
- The three pilot counties (see above) will go live first, as follows:
- January/February 2009 – Assessment Module
- June 2009 – Collection Module
- The rest of the state – 2011
