MapGuide Open Source App Only Works in Proprietary Browsers
[UPDATE] Thanks to Jason Birch for quickly clearing up things in his comment below, excerpted here:
"Firefox 3 was released after the code that they are using on that site. It works just fine in Firefox 2. There is a patch available for MapGuide Open Source 2.0.1 that fixes the problem."
How about that?
A fancy new Chatham County (NC) web mapping application works fine in IE7 and Safari for Windows, but does not work in the open-source Firefox 3.0 for Windows. Strange. If anything, I would expect an open-source app to work in an open-source browser and maybe not work in a proprietary browser, not the other way 'round.
Story comes to us via The All points Blog. Tests performed by yours truly.

Is that supposed to be link bait?
