Web Map Service (WMS) for the 2007 New Jersey Orthoimagery Available
This announcement just came from Andy Rowan, Director, NJ Office of GIS. I am publishing it with Andy's permission (thanks, Andy!).
Most notable is the fact that the New Jersey Office of GIS is publishing "an OGC-compliant map service that is compatible with a wide variety of desktop and web clients." Way to go.
"For any who haven't visited the NJGIN portal lately: NJ Office of GIS has published a WMS -- Web Map Service -- of the 2007 orthoimagery. This is an OGC-compliant map service that is compatible with a wide variety of desktop and web clients. Details are at njgin.nj.gov under the "Orthoimagery" link on the left. Sub-layers are available for natural color and false-color IR.
(The WMS is also what provides the imagery preview that appears in the Information Warehouse download application.)

AWESOME tip!!! Thanks for the intel Atanas, you've made my next few weeks at work much more bearable ^_^ Remember me from our Vertices days?
Thanks for the acknowledgment, Miles! Of course I remember you, how can I forget you? I hope all is well. --Atanas
I am pretty sure that NASA World WInd would like to receive the imagery. They have just for a couple of months ago received orthoimagery of all towns and villages of Greenland... If published on Yahoo! Maps the imagery is easily available for Open Street Map users too.
