Poll: Interns collecting GPS data -- Good, Bad or Ugly?
Please take our poll and help us find the answer to this recurring question. Have you worked with interns on GPS data collection? Was the project a success? Was it a flop? Why was it one or the other?

Training needs to be ongoing & supervision needs to be very tight, otherwise you'll end up with a big mess. It also doesn't hurt to make sure that the students you hire as your interns have at least a bit of GIS, Surveying or Engineering background. Reply to this
